Via Mulini, 2 - 70044 Polignano a Mare

osteriadeimulini@libero.it

Osteria dei Mulini celebrates the excellence of the land by selecting seasonal, 100% natural and top-quality products, in full respect for Apulian tradition.

This tradition lives through the stone barrel vault of the two lounges and the terracotta dishes. Everything in Osteria dei Mulini reminds of Puglia.

For 12 years Michele has been focusing to make this restaurant a benchmark for those searching the flavour of the land in meat or sea dishes, as in the special pacchero allo scorfano and the typical fave e cicorie, along with exclusively Apulian wine.

On one of the stones forming the restaurant façade, at the top right of the front door, there is this inscription: “D.O.M. Ostpitium peregrinorum 1608”. Indeed, it is certain that from here passes the via Francigena (Francigena Road), and that this place used to host the pilgrims headed to the Holy Land. Nowadays the Osteria hosts worldwide tourists visiting our country. In a way, the nature of this place has always been that of hosting transients, and Osteria dei Mulini has kept this altruistic task.
Michele and his staff await you in Via Mulini 2, at the entrance of the wonderful oldtown of Polignano!

Opening hours: 12.30 - 15.00; 19.30 - 23.00.

Closing day: Wednesday.
