Lama Monachile and the bastion of St. Stephen

The great Domenico Modugno took the inspiration for his songs from one of these lodges. Lama Monachile and The bastion of St. Stephen, a place that for many years, has hosted the World Cup for diving. World-class divers performed dives enriched with somersaults and twists into the Adriatic 25 meters below. Behind the loggia of St. Stephen, there's a chapel built in the early Middle Ages with clear indications of Byzantine and Slavic influence. Once dedicated to the worship, the chapel now houses the Pino Pascali art gallery.
